Acmaeodera dozieri

Acmaeodera dozieri (lat.) Is a species of golden beetles of the genus Acmaeodera from the subfamily Polycestinae ( Acmaeoderini ). Distributed in the New World . Sphaeralcea hastula (Barr 1992: 79) is the forage plant of imago, and the larvae are unknown [1] [2] [3] . The species was first described in 1992 by the American coleopterologist William Barr ( William F. Barr , University of Idaho , Moscow , USA ) [4] .
