Eugene-Paul Kupa ( Fr. Eugène-Paul Coupat MEP [1] , June 8, 1842 , France - January 26, 1890 , Chongqing , China ) - Catholic prelate , Bishop of Chongqing, Apostolic Vicar of East Sichuan from February 20, 1883 to 26 January 1890, missionary, member of the Paris Society of Foreign Missions missionary organization.

Biography
In 1864, he joined the Paris Society for Foreign Missions missionary organization. On June 15, 1867, he was ordained a priest , after which he was sent on a mission to China.
On September 15, 1882, Pope Leo XIII appointed him titular Bishop Tagasta and auxiliary bishop of the Apostolic Vicariate of Eastern Sichuan. On December 31, 1882, Eugen-Paul Coup was ordained a bishop by the apostolic vicar of Southern Sichuan, Bishop Jules Leple.
On February 20, 1883, Pope Leo XIII appointed Eugene-Paul as vicar of the Apostolic Vicariate of Eastern Sichuan.
He died on January 26, 1890 in Chongqing.
