Acmaeodera conoidea (lat.) Is a species of golden beetles of the genus Acmaeodera from the subfamily Polycestinae ( Acmaeoderini ). Distributed in the New World . The forage plants of imago are Cowania mexicana , Erigeron divergens , Fallugia paradoxa (Westcott, et al. 1979: 172), and the larvae have Dasylirion wheeleri (Chamberlin 1926: 14) and Juglans sp. (Westcott, et al. 1979: 172) [1] [2] [3] . The species was first described in 1899 by biologist Henry Clinton Fall [4] .
