Acmaeodera bishopiana (lat.) Is a species of gold -beetle genus Acmaeodera from the subfamily Polycestinae ( Acmaeoderini ). Distributed in the New World . The fodder plant of adults is Encelia virginiensis actoni (Westcott, et al. 1979: 171), and in the larvae Atriplex canescens (Beer 1944: 106) [1] [2] [3] . The species was first described in 1907 by the biologist Henry Clinton Fall [4] .
