Trnovo ( Bosnian Trnovo , Serbian Trnovo / Trnovo , Croatian Trnovo ) is a city in Republika Srpska as a part of Bosnia and Herzegovina . The center of the community of the same name in the city of East-Sarajevo in the region of East-Sarajevo . Located south of the center of Sarajevo .

In 1992, during the Bosnian war , near the city there was a massacre in Ledici .

The population of the city according to the 2013 census is 1018 people, the community - 2192 people [1] .
The ethnic composition of the population of the city of Trnovo according to the 1991 census:
- Bosnian Muslims - 1.078 (51.35%);
- Serbs - 939 (44.73%);
- Croats - 14 (0.66%);
- Yugoslavs - 46 (2.19%);
- others - 22 (1.04%).
