Biography
Born on August 4, 1970 in Waltham Abby (Essex, England, UK) in the family of a taxi driver who later became a registered hypnotherapist, Terry Silverton, and his wife Patricia Silverton, who now leads her daughter's company. Kate has two sisters - Amy Silverton and Claire Silverton.
Kate graduated from West Hatch High School and Durham University.
Career
Kate is currently working for the BBC. Silverton regularly runs programs such as BBC News at One, BBC News at Six, BBC News at Ten, and BBC Weekend News, and she sometimes appears on the BBC News Channel and BBC World News. .
Personal life
Since December 18, 2010, Kate has been married to former royal Marc Heron, whom she met two years before their wedding. The couple has two children - the daughter of Clemensi Florence Rose Heron (born November 5, 2011) and the son Wilbur Silverton Heron (born June 26, 2014). Silverton had two miscarriages between the birth of Clemensi's daughter and Wilbur’s son [1] .
