Lachaeva, Marina Yuryevna

Marina Yurievna Lachaeva (born December 1, 1951 , Moscow ) is a Russian historian, doctor of historical sciences, professor of the history department of Moscow State Pedagogical University . Author of training courses for universities [1] .

Biography

She graduated from the Department of Source Studies of the History Department of Moscow State University in 1973. The supervisor is Professor V. I. Bovykin (1927-1998).

In 1977 she defended her thesis "Source Studies of the Study of Foreign Capital in Russia (using the example of English in the copper ore industry of the Urals and Siberia at the beginning of the 20th century)"; in 1997 - doctoral dissertation “All-Russian Industrial Exhibitions as a Socio-Historical Phenomenon”.

Since 1977, she worked at the Faculty of History of Moscow State Pedagogical University (formerly V.I. Lenin Moscow State Pedagogical Institute). In 1991-1995 she was the scientific editor of the monthly "Past" [2] .

Scientific activity

Research interests: socio-economic history of Russia and its understanding by domestic and foreign researchers and thinkers; world and national exhibition movement; history of historical science; historical psychology.

Member of the scientific interuniversity seminars "Industrialization in Russia" and "Traditions of Russian historical thought", working at the Department of Source Studies of the History Department of Moscow State University. Member of the editorial boards of a number of scientific periodicals.
