Roscoe [1] ( born Roscoe River ) is a river located beyond the Arctic Circle , in the continental part of Northern Canada .

It starts from an unnamed lake [2] in the western part of Kitikmeot region of Nunavut province.
It flows through the Melville Hills and Tuktut Nogait National Park in the Northwest Territories , then flows into Amundsen Bay at its junction with the Dolphin and Union Strait, between Cape Deas Thompson Point and Taiso . Tysoe Point ) in the Northwest Territories.
History
During the polar expedition of Stefanson - Anderson from 1908 to 1912, research participants discovered the ruins of an Inuit village in the vicinity of the river [3] .
