The village is located in the north-west of the region, near the border with the Smolensk region , about 45 km from Mozhaisk , on the right bank of the Pesochnya river (left tributary of the Moscow River ) [6] , the height of the center above sea level is 219 m [7] . The nearest settlements are Zapolye on the opposite bank of the river and Makhovo , 1.5 km to the east.
