Biography
Likhov Vitaly Kuzmich was born on May 1, 1926 in the village. Dmitrievskoe Zaoksky district of the Moscow region.
In 1951 he graduated from the Siberian Metallurgical Institute.
Place of work: from 1945 to 1951 he worked as a teacher at the Kuznetsk Metallurgical College; Since 1951, he worked at the Beloretsk Metallurgical Plant as a foreman, site manager, deputy head of the Quality Department, shift supervisor, chief master of the wire mill, deputy head of the rolling mill, deputy chief metallurgist, chief metallurgist, deputy director for metallurgy, chief engineer, since 1983 - Head of the hot rolling mill research laboratory
Likhov Vitaliy Kuzmich participated in the development, construction, commissioning and development of the wire mill "150", which ensured the release of high-quality wire rod and hardware products.
He was awarded the USSR State Prize for the development and implementation of the technology for the production of high-quality wire rod.
