Geographical position
The village is located in the central part of Sasovskiy district , 3 km west of the central square of the district center .
Nearest settlements:
- Molodezhny settlement, 1.5 km northeast on a dirt road;
- the city of Sasovo adjoins from the southeast;
- the village of Kobyakovo , 4 km to the north-east along an asphalt road;
- the village of Frolovskoye , 3.5 km to the north-west along an asphalt road.
The nearest railway station is Sasovo , 4 km east on an asphalt road.
Nature
Climate
The climate is temperate continental with moderately hot summers (average July temperature +19 ° C) and relatively cold winters (average January temperature –11 ° C). Precipitation is about 600 mm per year.
History
From 2004 to the present, it has been part of the Kargashinsky rural settlement . Until that moment, it was part of the Kobyakovsky rural district .
