On May 30, 2013, The Pretty Reckless released a teaser trailer for their second studio album, Going to Hell , saying that it will be released closer to the end of this year. [5] On June 17 of that year, a new track called “Follow Me Down” was released through the band’s channel on YouTube . [6] On July 1, Taylor Momsen released a two-minute excerpt from the song “Burn,” which will also be on the tracklist of the new album. [7]
The premiere of the title track entitled “Going to Hell” took place on September 19, 2013 exclusively on REVOLVERMAG.com. [8] On the same day, The Pretty Reckless, announced that they had switched to a new label, Razor & Tie. [9] On September 20th, the band began a “Going to Hell Tour” tour in support of the album. In which bands such as Heaven's Basement and Louna opened for the opening act. The music video for the single “Going to Hell” was released on October 16 on Vevo . [10] On November 19th, the American release of the song “Heaven Knows” took place. [11] The tracklist, CD and vinyl covers and release date were officially announced on January 21, 2014. Limited versions of the album also became available for pre-order. They are made in several variations and with a rather noticeably varying price. [12]
