Glinka is an abolished village in the Taishet district of the Irkutsk region of Russia . She was a member of the Shelaevsky village council . It was abolished in 2004 due to the lack of a resident population [1] .

Geography
The village was located on the left bank of the Talaya River (the left tributary of the Biryusa River), about 100 km north-northwest of the district center, the city of Taishet , at an altitude of 202 meters above sea level [2] .
Population
According to the 2002 All-Russian Census , there was no permanent population in the village [3] .
