History
During the first centuries of the history of Islam, some former Jews and Christians have widely used Israel to interpret the Koran. One of the most famous of these interpreters was the former Jew Kaab al-Ahbar [2] . There are numerous stories in the Qur'an that overlap not only with biblical texts, but also with the Oral Torah and the New Testament . The stories borrowed from Tanakh , the Talmud and Midrash , as well as the biographies of the Israeli prophets and pious people attributed to the Israelis ( Banu Israil ) are related to Israel ( 1) .
Orthodoxy to Israelic Relationship
The excessive use of Israel has led to the introduction of unconfirmed dubious stories into the Muslim worldview. For this reason, Muslim orthodoxy, in general, negatively perceived this method. Israel was accepted as secondary, indirect evidence of a judgment on various aspects of Islamic primary sources [2] .
Muslim orthodoxy did not reject Israel even completely as evidence of certain verses of the Quran, and accepted it as an argument if it did not contradict the Quran and the Sunnah [2] .
Categories
The traditions of Israel can be divided into three categories:
- Acceptable legends, the authenticity of which is beyond doubt [3] [4] [5] .
- Fabricated narratives contradicting the Quran [6] .
- Dubious narratives that are not accepted, but not rejected [2] .
