Wuxi ( Wh . Ex . 巫溪 , Pinyin : Wūxī ) - county of the city of central subordination Chongqing ( PRC ). The county is named after the Wuxi River.

History
Under the Min Empire, the county of Danin (大 宁县) was formed in these places.
After the Xinhai Revolution and the formation of the Chinese Republic, Danin County was renamed Wuxi.
In 1997, Wuxi County was transferred to Chongqing jurisdiction.
Administrative divisions
Wuxi County is divided into 15 villages and 15 townships.
