- In Primorye, in the Chernihiv region , there is also the village of Mayskoye .
The village of Oktyabrskoye , which includes the villages of Lyublino , Mayskoye, Novonikolayevka and Oktyabrskoye, is part of the municipality.
History
Previously, the village was called the first branch of the Khankaysky rice farm, the central estate of which was located in the village of Ilyinka . Old-timers say that at the dawn of the formation of the village, the streets were in a completely different direction, in a lower and steeper place. In the mid -40s, at the site of the village, one could meet several Korean fanzas and very few Russian huts . After the end of World War II , a female correctional colony was located in the village, and a little later Japanese prisoners of war were placed at this place.
Big changes in the village occurred after the May Plenum of the Central Committee of the CPSU of 1966, which adopted a program of grand reclamation construction in the Far East . The first chief developer of the village and rice plantations is considered the Khankaisk construction department of the Primvodstroy trust of the USSR Ministry of Land Reclamation and Water Management.
Since 1993, a limited liability partnership βGranitβ appeared in the village. It was engaged in repairing roads, growing vegetables and grains, and provided work not only to residents of Maisky, but also to residents of neighboring villages and even to the regional center . Now the village is located at the Mayskoye agricultural production complex [2] .
