Biography
Born March 11, 1931 in Helsinki.
After graduating from the university, he received a master's degree in political science and from 1975 to 1981 worked as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Finland to Israel , and from 1981 to 1984 - in Belgrade.
From 1984 to 1986, with the rank of Ambassador, he was the representative of Finland at the CSCE in Stockholm, and from 1986 to 1988 he headed the political department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland .
From 1988 to 1991 he was the Ambassador of Finland to Austria, and from 1991 to 1996 - the ambassador to Sweden [2] .
In 1996, he retired.
He died on January 24, 2018.
