Biography

Boris Tumenko was born in Krasnograd . In 1967, he graduated from the Gadyachsky Cultural and Educational School with a degree in "head of an amateur theater group", in 1971 - the director's department of the Kharkov State Institute of Culture [1] .

Since 1984, he has been directing the People’s Theater "Time" in the Melitopol Palace of Culture T. G. Shevchenko [1] .

In 2003, the Vremya Theater became a graduate of the International Festival in Priluki , showing a performance based on the play by G. Gorin, “ Forget Herostratus ”. Also in 2003, the theater became the winner of the regional theater show, and Boris Tumenko was awarded a diploma and a valuable gift.

The Vremya Theater, which is led by Boris Tumenko, organized the “Theater Spring” and “Theater Autumn” in Melitopol. The team annually presents 2-3 premieres [2] .

Boris Tumenko was a regular methodologist of the theater genre in school drama circles.

Since 2001, a member of the People's Democratic Party of Ukraine [1] .

Boris Tumenko was fond of collecting candlesticks and candles [3] [1] . He died on May 8 in Melitopol after a serious illness, not having lived 20 days before his birthday.
