History
The Lokomotiv stadium was built in Poltava on Podil in 1937 . During the war it was completely destroyed. It was rebuilt in 1949 .
In the late 90's - early 2000s, the stadium was in poor condition. In 2004, the Poltava Medical Glass Factory reconstructs and rents a stadium. At that time, mainly matches were held for the championship of the city.
In 2008, the stadium was completely renovated: 2,500 individual plastic seats were installed, a VIP grandstand for honored guests was put into operation. The reconstruction was financed by the president of the club Leonid Sobolev.
In 2015, Modern House LLC is reconstructing the stadium, its capacity has been increased by 1,200 seats and now stands at 3,700 seats.
In 2018, another reconstruction began, it is planned to build a new three-story building where the referee room will be located, as well as changing rooms for players and a VIP box. It is also planned to build a platform on the opposite side of the field, the capacity of which will be 2 thousand fans, thus the capacity of the stadium will be 6000 seats. In addition, the Poltava club announces the acquisition of a power plant for the artificial clarification of the arena and the installation of turnstiles near the stadium.
