Northeastern Maidu , or Maidu Mountain ( Maidu, Mountain Maidu, Northeastern Maidu ) is an almost extinct Maidu language spoken by the Maidu people who live in the north of Lassen counties, Plumas, California Sierras. There is a great interest in revitalization. The majority of the Maidu population switched to English.
