Nothing is known about the origin of Sergian. Perhaps his father or cousin was 122-year- old consul-sufferer Guy Trebius Maxim . In 129, he served as the legate of the Prophet Galatia when the traveling emperor Hadrian visited this province. In 132, Sergian served as an ordinary consul along with Guy Yuniy Seriy Avgurin .
