Diving at the 1984 Summer Olympics

The diving competition at the 1984 Summer Olympics was held at the Olympic Swimming Stadium on the campus of the University of Southern California .

Three-time world champion Greg Luganis very confidently won both disciplines, becoming the first man since 1928 , who succeeded in such a “double” at the Olympics.

It was from this Olympiad that the Chinese jumpers began to climb to the top of domination.
