Community Uglevik ( Serb. Opshtina Ugzhevik ) - a community (municipality) in the north-east of the Republika Srpska as part of BiH . The center is located in the town of Uglevik . Included in the emerging region of Bielina .

Population
According to the 2013 census, the population of the Uglevik community was 16,538 people [1] , according to the 1991 census, 17,807 people [2] within the 2013 borders, and 25,587 people [ 1991 ] within the borders of 1991.
Ethnic composition of the population of the Uglevik community according to the 1991 census (within the 1991 boundaries):
- Serbs - 14.468 (56.54%);
- Bosnian Muslims - 10.241 (40.02%);
- Croats - 56 (0.21%);
- Yugoslavs - 290 (1.13%);
- the rest, undefined and unidentified - 532 (2.07%).
- Total: 25.587 people.
Ethnic composition of the population of the Uglevik community according to the 1971 census (in the 1971 borders):
- Serbs - 14.816 (61.27%);
- Bosnian Muslims - 8.859 (36.64%);
- Croats - 53 (0.21%);
- Yugoslavs - 35 (0.14%);
- the rest, undefined and unidentified - 415 (1.71%).
- Total: 24.178 people.

History
After the Bosnian war, the boundaries of the community were changed. A number of settlements (Sniezhnitsa, Stari Teochak and Teochak-Krstac) from the pre-war Uglevik community were transferred to FBiG to the Teochak community.
