Biography
He graduated from MGIMO, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the USSR (1974). At diplomatic work since 1974. He speaks Spanish , English and German .
- In 1995-1997 - Counselor-Envoy of the Russian Embassy in Austria .
- In 1996-2000, he was deputy director of the Fourth European Department of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- In 2000-2005 - Counselor-Envoy of the Russian Embassy in Germany .
- In 2006 - Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Policy Planning of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- In the years he was an assistant director of the Third European Department of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- From February 20, 2012 to March 14, 2016 - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Jamaica [1] [2] .
