The temple is an integral part of Stingrays. A wooden church in 1720 was lit in the name of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. In 1815, instead of a dilapidated wooden church, a new stone was laid in the name of St. Prophet Elijah with a chapel on the left side of the table in the name of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, consecrated in 1818. But already in 1823 the temple was dismantled, because there were cracks in the ceiling. The construction was completed in 1847. The left (warm) aisle was renamed in honor of the Holy Prophet Elijah, and the cold temple - in honor of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. At the beginning of the 20th century, there was only tin chalice in the temple of antiques. The parish consisted of 2 priests, a deacon and 2 psalm-goers, for their premises there were 4 church houses [3] .

In 1912, part of the village, along with the temple, fell into the photo of Prokudin-Gorsky [4] . In 1935 the temple was closed, and in Soviet times the bell tower and domes were demolished. Currently, there are only walls and partitions, no ceiling, the temple is not being restored [5] . You can see the color of the fresco on one of the walls.
