History
The street is named after the May 1 holiday.
The street was formed in the middle of the XIX century and was marked on the city plan of Vladikavkaz as Yermolovskaya street . It was named in honor of the Russian Infantry General Alexei Petrovich Yermolov .
On June 21, 1928 , Yermolovskaya Street was renamed Pervomayskaya Street.
