The villa was built on Przegozhalsky hill in the south-western part of the Volsky forest . From the terrace located in the western part, there is a view of the Vistula valley and the Podugzhe-Wielicki elevation. Below the Villas Towers is the Przhegozhalsky rolling pins .
The building was designed by Polish architect Adolf Szyszko-Bogush , who in 1916 bought a 9-acre land plot from the monastic order of gums. Construction of the building was begun in 1928 and completed in 1929.
The building was built in the style of modernism in the form of a rotunda with medieval elements of romantic historicism. Above the villa portal there are two cartouches with coats of arms. On the left cartouche is the coat of arms of Adolph Shishko-Bogush Odynets and on the right - the coat of arms of Korab . On the territory of the villa was a swimming pool and garden. Below the villa on the driveway was a garage, and at the foot of the hill was the watchman's house.
In 1940, the Willa Tower was transferred to the governor of the Galician district Otto Gustav Wechter . In 1943, the Wartenberg Castle was built near the villa, originally intended for the summer residence of the governor and later transferred to the SS for sanatorium treatment.
After World War II, the building became state property. At the end of 1945, relatives of the architect Adolf Szyszko-Bogush attempted to return the villa to their property. In 1952, the Villa Tower was transferred to the Forest Research Institute under the Ministry of Forestry. In 1973, the Willa Tower was transferred to the Institute of the Polonistics of the University of Yagellon .
In 1976, near the Towers Villa began the construction of the Kazimierz Pulaski Collegium, designed by architects Tomas Mankovsky and Dariusz Kozlovsky, which was completed in 1991. Currently, this building houses the Institute for European Studies.
On May 30, 1986, the Tower of Willa was entered in the register of protected monuments of Malopolska Voivodeship (No. А-643 [1] ).
