Also, pediatric oncology is engaged in the study, development and practical application of methods for the prevention , diagnosis and treatment (including surgical , radiation , chemotherapeutic , immunotherapeutic , hormonal ) of various tumors in infants, children and adolescents, as well as studying the features of diagnosis and treatment of tumors in children and adolescents compared to adults.
