Biography
Orthodox.
He graduated from the St. Petersburg Military Gymnasium (1880) and Mikhailovsky Artillery School (1883), from where he was released as second lieutenant to the 26th Artillery Brigade.
Ranks: lieutenant (1886), staff captain (1892), lieutenant guard (1892), staff captain (1895), captain (1898), army lieutenant colonel (1898), colonel (for distinction, 1906), major general ( for difference, 1913).
He graduated from the Nikolaev Academy of the General Staff in the 2nd category.
He was an assistant to the class inspector of the Nikolaev Cavalry School (1899-1901), commander of the 5th battery of the 37th artillery brigade (1901-1903).
In 1903-1908 he commanded the 3rd battery of the 3rd artillery brigade , with which he participated in the Russian-Japanese war and was awarded the orders of St. Anne of the 2nd degree with swords and St. Vladimir of the 4th degree with swords. Then he commanded the 2nd division of the 3rd artillery brigade (1908-1911). In 1911-1914 he was the head of the GAU department.

In 1918 he served in the army of the Ukrainian state , from September 30, 1918 he commanded the 14th light artillery brigade. Then he participated in the White movement. Since July 5, 1919, he was in the reserve of ranks at the headquarters of the Commander-in-Chief of the All - Union Union of Liberal Democratic Forces , and on November 28 of the same year he was appointed commander of the 13th artillery brigade. In the Russian army, Baron Wrangel served in the Sevastopol fortress artillery until the evacuation of Crimea .
In exile in Yugoslavia . He died in 1930 in Zemun . He was married, had two children.
