Acmaeodera alacris (lat.) Is a species of gold-beetle genus Acmaeodera from the subfamily Polycestinae ( Acmaeoderini ). Distributed in the New World ( USA ). The fodder plants of adults are Cercidium plurifoliolatum , Prosopsis juliflora (Nelson 1967a: 23), and are unknown in larvae . The species was first described in 1878 by the American entomologist Horn ( George Henry Horn , 1840–1892) [1] [2] [3] .
