Geographical position
The village of the Third Northern municipality " Severouralsk urban district " of the Sverdlovsk region is located 6 kilometers (7 km along the highway) north of the city of Severouralsk [2] .
Village History
In 1898, a magnetite-skarn deposit was discovered in the vicinity of the village [2] .
The village arose in 1943 as a village of miners and mine builders in connection with the commissioning of the 3rd Northern Bauxite mine.
In 1997 - 2004, the Third North belonged to the category of urban-type settlements.
In October 2004, the working village of the Third North was categorized as rural settlements as a type of settlement [3] .
