Shafa'at ( Arabic: شفاعة - intercession) - in Islamic eschatology , intercession that Allah will be allowed to make on the day of the Last Judgment ( kiyamat ) to the prophets . Prophets led by Muhammad will be able to intercede for all sinners - Muslims so that they will be delivered from the torment of hell ( jahannam ) and enter paradise ( jannat ). Intercession is spoken of in the 109th verse of Su Ha Ta [1] .
After the resurrection from the dead, the angels will gather ( hash ) all people in one place ( Mavkif ) and God's judgment will begin, in which Allah will be the judge. The Islamic tradition says that people will stand naked, without shoes and uncircumcised . Seeing the hopelessness of their situation, people will turn to their prophets with a request to intercede for them before Allah. However, each prophet will refer them to the prophet who followed him, and finally, all people will gather around the last prophet Muhammad . The Prophet Muhammad will declare that intercession is his business, after which he will intercede three times for his followers [2] .
