Elections in Israel

Elections in Israel are based on a proportional electoral system . Israel has a multi-party political system, at each election there are representatives of certain political parties as well as non-party candidates. Every citizen of Israel who has reached the age of 18 has the right to vote [1] . Elections are controlled by the Central Election Commission .
