The USSR Boxing Championship of 1936 - the 5th USSR Boxing Championship , was held from May 6 to June 23, 1936 in Moscow . Personal competitions were held in the form of separate matches in different cities with the finals in Moscow . 56 boxers took part in the championship, which was held in a circular system . In preliminary circles, the battle formula was 5 rounds of 3 minutes each, and in the final round - 6 rounds of 3 minutes each. The 1st round took place in May in Moscow, Kharkov and Baku , the 2nd round - May 24 in Ivanovo and the 25th of May - in Kiev , the 3rd round - on the 1st and 13th of June in Leningrad . The final round was held on June 23 in Moscow.
