He participated in the creation of the Soviet hydrogen bomb [2] [3] . He was one of the most cited physicists of the USSR and Russia [4] . In the works of E. S. Fradkin, I. A. Batalin and G. A. Vilkovysky , B. L. Voronov and I. V. Tyutin, a universal method for quantizing general gauge theories was developed [5] .

Stages of Biography
- Since 1948 he worked at the Lebedev Physical Institute of the USSR Academy of Sciences .
- In 1951 he defended the dissertation of the candidate a fiz.-floor-mat. sciences.
- In 1960 he defended the thesis of Doctor of Physics and Mathematics. sciences.
- On November 24, 1970, he was elected a corresponding member of the USSR Academy of Sciences in the Department of Nuclear Physics.
- December 15, 1990 was elected an academician of the USSR Academy of Sciences in the Department of Nuclear Physics.
- He died on May 25, 1999, was buried in Moscow at the Troekurovsky cemetery [6] .
