Triteleia ( Latin Triteleia ) is a genus of perennial herbaceous tuberous plants of the subfamily Brodiaeoideae of the Asparagaceae family . Sometimes this genus is placed in the Onion ( Alliaceae ), Liliaceae ( Liliaceae ) and Themidaceae families [2] .

The name is of Greek origin, means "a clear three-fold parts of the flower " [3] .
Distribution
Species of the genus Tritellaea come from the western regions of North America : Canadian British Columbia in the north, the states of Washington , Idaho , Montana , Oregon , California , Nevada . The greatest species diversity in California.
