The village is located on the left bank of the Kotorosl River, surrounded by agricultural fields. Behind the village is a forest, in which Lake Meshcherovo is located. An embankment runs along the forest, probably the former narrow gauge railway.
On the opposite bank of the river is the village of Osovy . Between them is a bridge.
The road to the village begins after turning from the Southwest Ring Road ( M8 ) in the vicinity of the village of Ivanovsky Perevoz , between two bridges over the Kotorosl River and the Pakhma River, onto the Yaroslavl-Shirinye road. It has asphalt pavement.
A road passes through Medvedkovo to the following upstream settlements: Kostino , Prikalitki , Vorobyevo , Remenitsy , Plotinki .
