A Hard Road ( Rus. Hard Way ) is the second single of the Black Sabbath from the album Never Say Die! released in 1978. He reached 33 places in the British charts. The song describes the “thorny path” of the band’s career before it succeeds. The band's latest single, with Ozzy Osbourne, before returning to the band in the 1990s.

On the B side of this single, the song " Symptom of the Universe " from the 1975 album Sabotage is recorded.
This song is notable for the fact that here Tony Iommi played the backing vocals for the first and only time. In his autobiography “Iron Man: My Journey Through Heaven & Hell With Black Sabbath”, Iommi noted that at the time when he sang the vocal part in this song, bassist Geather Butler could not keep a serious face [1] .
