He graduated from the Bucharest Academy of Arts in the class of O. Khan and D. Pacuri in 1933 . During World War II - in evacuation in Ashgabat . Since 1948 he lived in Chisinau [1] .
He worked in the field of decorative and monumental sculpture. Busts to Alexander Donici (1957) and Bogdan Petricheychu Hashdeu (1957) were installed in the Chisinau Alley of Classics [2] . Among other works are the monumental sculptures Doina (1966), Sad Mother (1967), portraits Academician A. Kovarsky (1971), and Artist R.V. Okushko (1968).
Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR since 1947 [3] .
Daughter - artist Maya Iosifovna Serbinova (born 1948).
