ZYX Music

ZYX Music is a recording studio ( label ), founded in Germany in 1971 by Bernhard Mikulski. The label specialized in disco , italo disco and early house music . Until 1992, the label bore the name Pop-Import Bernhard Mikulski.

The main office of ZYX Music was in Merenberg in Germany , as well as offices in the United States and several European countries. In 1997 , after the death of Bernhard, the studio was transferred to his widow, Christine Mikulski.

ZYX Music has the rights of some German kraut-rock labels, such as Ohr, Pilz, Kosmische Kuriere, as well as the rights to re-release many albums of music in the style of free jazz , released under the label ESP-Disk. Previously, the licenses belonged to the European studio Fantasy Records, which ceased to exist at the end of 2005 .

ZYX Music released on CD some significant works of classical music , including Beethoven .
