Biography
Yevgeny Timokhin was born on April 29, 1983 in Kiev.
In 1990 I went to the first class of the metropolitan school number 255. After receiving a certificate of secondary education in 2000 , I entered the Kiev National University of Culture and Arts , which I graduated in 2005 (Igor Negresco's workshop).
The first short film "Season in Hell / Arthur Rambo" ( 2003 ) Yevgeny Timokhin participated in the programs of the Cannes Film Festival and the Kiev International Film Festival " Youth ."
The second short film (thesis work “Lift” - 2005 ) was shown in the program of the film festival “ Youth-2005 ”.
In 2006, at the European Festival Euro Video Grand - Prix 2006 in Tirana, among 27 contestants from 27 countries, the first place was awarded to the tandem of Evgeny Timokhin and the performer Alyona Grebenyuk - “Le Forze Del Destino”.
In 2008, the DJUICE MOBILE MOVIE FEST-2008 won in the nomination “Best Cinematography” (the film “The Man with a Mobile Device”).
February 3, 2010 the premiere of the short film "Le crocodile du Dniepr" by French director Nicolas Engel. Yevgeny Timokhin played a stylist in him, who is forced to make money by a “crocodile” because of the economic crisis.
