Nadezhdinsk is an abolished [1] village in the Katangsky district of the Irkutsk region of Russia . Before the abolition, it was part of the Podvoloshinsky rural settlement .

Geography
The village was located in the south of the Katanga district, on the right bank of the Nizhnyaya Tunguska river, south of the village of Podvoloshino .
History
Nadezhdinsk was founded as the location of the Preobrazhenskoye oil and gas exploration expedition, which later became the state unitary enterprise Vostsibneftegazgeologiya. The liquidation of the expedition entailed the abolition of the village [2] . According to the 2002 census , 112 people lived in the village (65 men and 47 women) [3] .
