The Bad Walton Arena ( Eng. Bud Walton Arena , also known as the “Basketball Palace of Central America”) is the sports arena of the men's and women's basketball teams of the University of Arkansas “ Arkansass Razorbacks ”. Located on the campus of the university in Fayetteville , Arkansas , it seats 19,368 people, making it the fifth largest US arena located on the university campus.

Construction
The arena is named after James “Bud” Walton , co - founder of Wal-Mart , who donated a large part of the required amount for construction. He allocated $ 15 million for construction - about half of the construction cost [1] . Construction took 18 months, which is pretty fast for building a building of this size.
After construction, it was called the greater version of the Barnhill Arena , the former home site of the Reysbacks . In order to recreate the atmosphere, as it was in Barnhill, the architectural bureau Rosser International placed as many seats as possible in the smallest volume than in any similar structure in the world [2] .
