Biography
Jeanne Aster was born in Kaliningrad. Since 1986, she studied at the Faculty of Philology of Kaliningrad State University , now Immanuel Kant University . She participated in the activities of the literary association "Rodnik" led by the famous Kaliningrad poet and marinist Sam Simkin. In 1989, she published her first book of poems, The Presence of Light. The works of Jeanne Aster are included in the Anthology of Kaliningrad Poetry.
Zhanna Aster was nominated for the “ Poet of the Year 2013 ” award and became a nominee for the literary award “ Legacy 2014 ”. The award was established jointly with the Russian Imperial House, under the leadership of Grand Duchess Maria Vladimirovna Romanova.
Zhanna Aster is included in the catalogs of poets , writers and public figures of the Russian foreign countries in France.
Member of the Union of Russian Writers since 2016.
Emigration
In 1994, Jeanne Aster emigrated to France, where she lives and works to this day. He is engaged in producing musical projects, is a member of the Union of French Composers ( SACEM ), writes, arranges and performs songs. Jeanne's album "Visibility" (French " Apparence ") took its place among an independent group of French music. In France, Jeanne Aster was engaged in public activities, in particular from 1998 to 2000. was a member of the Russian literary society in Paris. During this period, a collection of works by Russian and Parisian poets "The Connection of Times", 2001, was published. The collection was published in Moscow at the museum of Marina Tsvetaeva. Zhanna Astaire continues to be published in the almanac of the Kaliningrad poets "Echo" and others.
