Fernando Sebastian Aguilar ( Spanish: Fernando Sebastián Aguilar ; December 14, 1929 , Calatayud , Spain - January 24, 2019 [1] , Malaga , Spain) is a Spanish cardinal . Bishop of Leon from August 22, 1979 to July 28, 1983. Secretary General of the Conference of Catholic Bishops of Spain in 1982-1988. Coadjutor of the Archbishop of Granada from April 8, 1988 to March 26, 1993. Archbishop of Pamplona and Tudela from March 26, 1993 to July 31, 2007. Vice-President of the Conference of Catholic Bishops of Spain in 1993-1999 and 2002-2005. Cardinal priest with the title of the Church of Santa Angela Merichi since February 22, 2012.
