Dryinus indianus

Dryinus indianus (lat.) Is a species of the small osseum of the genus Dryinus from the family Dryinidae . South and Southeast Asia : Vietnam, India, Cambodia, China [2] .

Description

The rear ozelliums almost touch the occipital margin. Medium legs with one spur (spur formula: 1/1/1 or 1/1/2) [2] . The wings in its base have 3 closed cells. The mandibular palpi consists of 6, and the lower part of the labial consists of 3 segments (the formula of palpi: 6.3). Presumably, like other species of a kind of ectoparasitoid and predators of tsikadok . The females on the front paws have a claw to hold the tsikadok, at the moment when they temporarily paralyze them and lay their eggs. Claw of claw has one long seta [3] . The species was first described in 1984 . Valid status was confirmed in 2013 during the review of the fauna of Cambodia by the Italian hymenopterologist Massimo Olmi ; Tropical Entomology Research Center, Viterbo , Italy; and Korean entomologists Chang-Jun Kim, Gang Won Choi, Jong-Wook Lee (Department of Life- Sciences, Yeungnam University , Gyeongsan , South Korea ), Seunghwan Lee (Department of Agricultural Biotechnology, Research Institute for Agriculture and Life Sciences, Seoul National University , Seoul ) and Jongok Lim (Division of Forest Biodiversity, Korea National Arboretum , Pocheon , Gyeonggi-do ) [2] .
