• January 22 - the manuscript of the play “Women and Servants” by Lope de Vega , which was considered lost about 400 years ago, was discovered in the National Library of Spain ^[1] .
• January 29 - Two unknown Sappho poems were found ^[2] .
• February 4 - Charlie Chaplin ’s only story , “Ramp Lights” ^[3] , is published.
• February 6 - more than 200 writers from 30 countries, including three Nobel Prize winners in literature , called on Russia to repeal the law on gay propaganda ^[4] .
• February 22 - Sergey Lukyanenko banned the translation of his books into Ukrainian due to events on the Maidan ^[5] .
