Player Career

Club career

Vitaly Levchenko, a native of the Tajik Soviet Socialist Republic , a pupil of Khujand , at the age of 19, was in the double of Dynamo Kyiv .

In 1994, he ended up in another metropolitan team - CSKA , together with the CSKA, played in the First League and in the 1997/98 season reached the Ukrainian Cup finals (defeat against Dynamo 2-1), so the club qualified in UEFA Cup Winners Cup . In European competition, the team first with a 3–2 overall score defeated Cork City , and in the next round lost to Lokomotiv Moscow (5-1 in the end).

After parting with CSKA in 2000, Levchenko moved to Tavria , and spent his next career “Lew's Little Two” in Russia, where he ended his career at 32 [1] .

National Team

In the national team of Tajikistan, 24-year-old Levchenko made his debut in the selection for the 1998 Asian Games . Vitaly also played in the selection for the 1998 World Cup , and the last time he played for the Tajik national team in 2000. For five years, Levchenko played in its composition of 9 matches, being a base player [1] .

Coaching career

After the player’s career ended, Levchenko first worked in the “ Prince ” as an assistant coach, but in 2008, after the resignation of Victor Dogadailo, he became the head coach of the team from Lucky . The closest assistants to Levchenko were approved by Eduard Pavlov and Denis Ivankov [2] . In 2009, he moved to the club academy of the capital's Arsenal .

April 16, 2019 was introduced as the head coach of Khujand [3] .
