Biography
Mikhail Antonovich was born in 1917 in the city of Nikolaev in a large family.
From 1933 to 1938 he studied at the Odessa Naval College with a degree in radio engineering and a first-class radio operator. After graduation, he was called up for military service.
From 1938 to 1946, Mikhailov served in the Marine Border Guard as an officer. He was awarded the medals " For the victory over Germany " and " For the victory over Japan ."
After demobilization, he worked at the Tashkent Institute of Foreign Languages as a teacher, dean, and rector.
In 1956, Mikhailov and his family moved to Yoshkar-Ola , where he was appointed dean of the faculty of foreign languages of the Mari State Pedagogical Institute named after N.K. Krupskaya .
In 1960-1962, he served as secretary of the party organization of the Volga Forestry Institute .
In 1965 he was elected secretary of the party bureau of Moscow State Pedagogical Institute. Krupskaya.
In 1968-1976 he was also a senior lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages at the Mari Polytechnic Institute .
Since 1972, he worked at Mari State University . Working in three universities, he was the first who created language laboratories and other technical means for learning foreign languages.
He died on October 17, 1995 [1] .
