About the tournament
ASUS Cup Summer 2006 - fourteen of the series of tournaments ASUS Open , created in the framework of cooperation between the Russian e-sports portal cyberfight.ru and the company for the production of computers and components ASUSTeK Computer [2] . Passed from August 25 to August 27, 2006. This tournament was also sponsored by Intel . The competition was held in four disciplines: Counter-Strike 1.6, WarCraft III, Quake 4, Starcraft: Broodwar, FIFA 2006, NFS: MW. The tournament was attended by more than six thousand players from Russia and the CIS countries . The prize fund of the tournament amounted to 1,000,000 rubles.
